I've just seen an ad in a 06 magazine.It was for a $100 power cable.It had clear ends and stated UL approved.UL does not approve stuff from my understanding. I guess they test it and let them state UL listed if it meets their standards.The clear end on the plug showed the very poor solder job.A new power cable will still pass all the noise along from the power company.A power conditioner might do you more good.It will hopefully clean some of that noise coming from the outlet.Other readers might give you some help on what type to choose from if you try that way instead.
