??? Pathos Classic Remix Mk.II OR Copland CSA-100 *** Which Hybrid Would You Buy???

One is hand built in Italy & has very unique aesthetics, one is hand built in Denmark & looks pretty normal..Both retail around $4500.00 new...
Pathos 70wpc.@ 8 ohm’s/130 wpc.@ 4 ohms..
Copland 100 wpc.@ 8 ohms/180 wpc.@ 4 ohms..
Both have remote operation & decent headphone circuits although the Copland doesn’t like low impedance headphones..
Pathos has easily rollable 6922 tubes ( 2 ) while Copland uses 1 ea..6922 & the case top must be removed to change it..
Both units weigh about the same & the Copland is just a little bigger in case size, although not as tall as the Pathos..
Both have built in Dacs based on Sabre chip sets..
Both have excellent reviews from many well respected sources..
Either would be driving several different stand mounted speakers including ProAc,Vienna Acoustics & Triangle in a well treated, medium size room....
Which would you choose & why???

Go with the Pathos. I had a Pathos Classic One MKIII for over 10 years and only sold it to down size. Get the best 6922 tubes you can, they make a difference.

I would choose the Copland myself. Love that Danish sound and design language. The Pathos is not bad of course. Maybe the better choice for some speakers. An if you do headphones often I bet the Pathos is the winner there by a good margin. I'd still choose the Copland though.
