Passing Of A Giant: Lata Mageshkar (28 September 1929 – 6 February 2022)

This is truly a very sad day. Indian music giant Lata Mangeshkar passed away few hours ago due to complications from COVID-19. She was 92. She was the last link from the Golden Era of Indian music and kept the flame from that period alive while many of her contemporaries passed away. For those who do not know who she was, please check the Wiki link below. I first heard her singing in the movie "Madhumathi," very popular one "Aaja Re Pardesi Main." I became a fan and admirer to this day. May She rest in Peace!
