I respect your views as someone with a big breath of experience. Ya its not something I take very seriously... its just fun to talk audio. Will always decide on things by listening myself.
The problem with perspectives is that you have no idea if they are even remotely valid. For all you know the opinion being offered is based solely on that person simply reading someone elses opinion, so literally worth nothing and only serving to confuse. But if you enjoy the dialogue then so be it.
I enjoy reading impressions. But as you said, you need to buy and live with things. I plan on doing the same. Not now but in the future. But I really enjoy reading perspectives regardless of my own setup.
What are you doing? You have a serious problem with your current set up, you have no room treatment and yet you want strangers opinions on some seriously expensive preamps? Your priorities are all backwards
