I had used Pass Labs Amplifiers with Wilson Audio Speakers for many years, before moving to a Devialet 200, 400 and now 440. I stream music directly from my Router to the 440 and control all functions of the music and amplifiers via smart-phone or tablet from any room in the House. The Devialet is a pleasure to use, with discreet asthetics, light-weight, cool-running, low-energy consumption and sounds excellent powering my Sasha 2 Speakers. I haven’t had any service issues with the 3 Devialet Amplifiers that I have owned during the past 4 years. Sound-wise they both have their strengths and weaknesses; the differences are a matter of personal preference, though the Devialet is by far the easier to live with, for reasons previously stated.
Pass Labs or Devialet
Having thoughts on two integrated amps. Devialet 220 or a Pass Labs INT-250.
At the moment the speakers are the Pioneer S-ex1’s with a pair of Rels G1’s subs.
Using PSAudio Direct Stream with Roon and OPPO 205 for discs.
My other smaller room is a separate system the Kii threes, but that is another topic.
Any thoughts?
