Pass Aleph 60 vs. Two Aleph 30

I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE CONSIDERING. I USED TWO ALEPH 30'S , ONE TO EACH SPEAKER, ONE CHANNEL HOOKED TO EACH BINDING POST.
IT IS CONSIDERABLY BETTER IN TERMS OF CHANNEL SEPARATION, DYNAMICS, & BASS CONTROL.
BEFORE I BOUGHT MY SECOND ALEPH 30, I CONTACTED PASS & WAS TOLD THEY DO NOT MODIFY A 30 INTO A 60.
YEARS AGO, WHEN I HAD APOGEE SIGNATURES, I DID THE SAME KIND OF PASSIVE BIAMPING WHILE LOOKING FOR AN APOGEE DAX CROSSOVER: THE RESULTS WERE THE SAME AS WITH THE ALEPH 30'S. WHEN I BOUGHT THE DAX AND ACTIVE BIAMPED, THERE WAS SMALL IMPROVEMENT IN DYNAMICS, BUT NOT WORTH THE PRICE OF THE DAX. BASS CONTROL WAS BETTER & WENT DEEPER, BUT THIS WAS A RESULT OF REMOVING THE PASSIVE CROSSOVER FROM THE APOGEES

I own 2 Aleph 30s & a pair of Aleph 60s. I have not tried the 2 Aleph 30s bi-amped.
Theoretically, dedicating a channel to each tweeter & woofer should sound better. But you will need twice the interconnects & twice the speaker cable, with twice the connections.........
I use my Aleph 60s on my larger speakers, the Aleph 30s on my more efficient speakers.
I belong in the camp that says the fewer parts in the output circuit (transistors), the better. (Up to the point of clipping).
You CAN have too much power. I'm sure one Aleph 30 in my bedroom system will sound better than a pair of X600s - fewer parts!
