Pairing MA 5300 with Large Advents for 900 sq ft apartment?

Interesting.. I like jazz so the Advent's have always been a standby because of the bass response.  I've never heard "Maggie's" so will see if I can find some to listen to...

Don't know Totem or Vienna.  

Know where is a good place to go listed to audio equipment in Manhattan, or Queens? 

Other opinions?

The owners manual for the L340's (4 ohm) says that they are designed for optimal performance with any MC amp, even the least powerful.  

I guess I should do as you suggest and contact MAC Labs and ask.  Do you just call them, or send them an email?

Do you know if having area rugs and curtains will help both the acoustics but also reduce the sound transmission to the neighbors? 

So I decided to take the LS340 McIntosh speakers to pair with the MA 5300. But the cables I have are missing a couple of banana clips from the previous owner who had an older Mc integrated amp and some long 30ft cables.

Where can I get replacement banana clips?

Or should I get new speaker cables for the MA 5300 since the distance between the amp and the speakers will be much less in the apartment?
