Ortofon Verismo

Recently Ortofon announced this new top level MC cartridge. Contrary to current industry trends this had a diamond cantilever at a reduced price compared to the MC Anna Diamond. In fact this model sells for around the same price as the standard MC Anna, around €6500. Looking at the cosmetics and specs it looks like a slightly more dressed up A95 with diamond cantilever in place of boron. The discontinued A95 sold at €5k, so this €1500 surcharge for a diamond cantilever is not unreasable, considering what some brands typically charge for this 'privilige'....

I already own A95 and Anna (sans diamond cantilever), so I'm going to pass on this one, but would still like to hear users comments on its performance. Could be a winner at a still 'sane' price in the current market place.
