Ortofon 6NX-TSW-1010-R tonearm cable
Hi,
I don't know if this is the right forum or if I should post under 'Analog'.
I've just bought an Ortofon 6NX-TSW-1010-R tonearm cable (http://ortofon.com/hifi/products/cables/6nx-tsw-1010-r-tonearm-cable), which replaced Audio Quest King Cobra (i.e. cinch interconnects not specifically designed for tonearms like the Ortofon is).
Out of the box, the Ortofon seems to give more clarity and details, but the sound is 'thinner' and the mids sound a bit... er... 'acid'.
Do you have any experience with this cable, is that its sound character ?
Should I wait for some kind of "burn in" ? (does such stuff exist ?)
thanks, ciao
