Oracle CD. Cosmetic novelty or a good player?

I am considering purchasing a Levinson 390S but as someone who spent years as a machinist I really like the design and biuld of the Oracle players. I have not heard the Oracle players nor have I read reviews. What do you guys and gals think. The player will be used with a Levinson 383 and N802's.
