Oppo205 using both output connections simultaneously

Is there a risk if you maintain connections to both balanced and rca?

for example, balanced connections to tube amp and
rca to ss preamp then to ss amp.

Then just turning on one or the other, each with a set of speakers

is is their loss of SQ?
risk of component damage?

what if both amps were on simultaneously, by accident?
