Oppo Sonica Wireless speaker

I just bought this one for $299.  Have an iPhone 6.  Select free Skype.on iPhone.  Sounds pretty bad and far worse than the Naim Muso with Tidal.  Would using a laptop with Skype improve the sound?  How do I get this to sounds a good as my $ 499 Denon Micro stereo system.
