This sounds like some time on the phone is needed with the manufacturers in question. There is a lot going on here, so either experiment over time and trust your ears or default to what the manufacturers say about their stuff.
Oppo 205 to KEF KC62 settings
I plan to take the stereo audio output from the Oppo 205 to the KEF KC62 and high-pass stereo from the KC62 to a NAD M22 amp that drives a pair of KEF LS50s. Darko uses 45 Hz low pass and 70 high pass to his LS50s after consulting KEF Techies, but 45 Hz seems too low to me. Anybody know the slope KEF uses in the crossovers? Any suggestions about high and low pass crossovers for LS50?
