Opinions on the Lamm ML 2/2.1 vs. Wyetech Topaz?

Related to the recent thread on the ML2/2.1. Does anyone have any experience with the Wyetech Topaz now using the 211 again and apparantly in stereo configuration compared to the Lamm ML2/2.1?
I read somewhere where the Topaz was the "poor man's" Lamm!
I going to look into the Topaz as it is easily accessable to me (I'm in Canada) and it far less expensive than the Lamm. Any Comments are welcome.
