Olive Opus Server + high end DAC?

I've had the opus for a year or so and although is sounds good the transport mechanism is cheap at best. Very rough with inserting and ejecting discs. I find the computer processor to be a bit on the slow side. I have not been impressed at all with this player/server and it will be delegated to a bedroom system soon and used for transferring vinyl to disc

I’m looking into a Mac book paired with a Berkeley alpha DAC for higher end sound

Bump for any more opinions on the Olive music servers (Opus No. 4) + External DAC.
