Older Dynavector 17d2 mII vs 20x2l

I am curious how the Dynavector Karat 17d2 Mii is compared to other newer Dynavector cartridges like the 20x2L. I have an opportunity to get a 17d2 mii in amazing shape with a straight cantilever and an super sharp stylus. I know the cantilever of the 17d2 is unique and it is a several year old cartridge. I don’t have the opportunity to listen ahead of time so wondering what opinions were out there.

Not looking for a lecture on used cartridges I know the risks and the rewards as well!

@chakster is spot-on! The 17D2 is also a substantial step up from the 20X.  If you have a rig that can take advantage of it, that's the way I'd go.  If you could find one, the 23RS is even better, IMO.  Always was very impressed with the slightly longer ruby cantilever design; just seemed to respond better.
