Old Timers Advice Required

I felt sentimental today when I saw an ad for an original Apt Holman pre amp and amp. When I was in high school, I couldn't afford this gear and heard it demoed with Dalhquist DQ-10s and a Thorens turtable with an Infinity Black Widow tonerarm and a Denon MC cartridge. Sounded magical to me in 1978 but I am wondering if it would just sound like old junk today. Also, don't know the condition but any idea what these amps might be worth? Thank you very much.

I owned the Apt Holman preamp, and admired the well-written manual, but the sound was never good, in my opinion, even for its time. I myself wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole. I replaced it with a PS Audio 4.5, which was many orders of magnitude better. And I'm retired, hence an older-timer than most in this forum, so special respect for my opinion is due.
