Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?

Hi,

I'd love to hear the impressions of people who've actually spent some time with these speakers to share their sense of their plusses and minuses. Mapman here on Audiogon is a big fan, and has shared lots on them, but I'm wondering who else might be familiar with them.

Been listening to my new Ohm 1000's (Italian rosewood) they are really great. This thread was very helpful in helping me make decision. Great top and low end and seems very neutral as well.
They are beta models, I dont have much to compare them to coming from high end headphone world and some old NHT 2.5's but they are not going anywhere. I will post some pics of my setup.
I am looking for a second set of speakers, the room is extremly large 25 feet long 18 ft high 15 feet wide. The room also has a balcony that divides the space in half. I am looking for speakers that fill most of space (going to put on balcony or cross beams that come off the balcony and open to suggestions) Budget around 500 (somewhat flexible) 30 hertz would nice but might just get a sub. Using a denon receiver (av not the best but adequate for me) I bought some of those ohm frs 9 on ebay and they are good but not what I am looking for (problems with tweeter). Any help would be appreciated.
I have had the OHM 1000's for a while now I liked them but did not know what was really missing until I put them in an extreme nearfield set up (3 feet away by 3 ft in between). Paired with an Onkyo 8555 amp it sounds like some very nice headphones.
