Objective vs Subjective…

Would you rather have an amplifier that measures amazing, extremely low total harmonic distortion, sky high dampening factor, and the like, but for whatever reason doesn’t sound very good to you in your stereo system? Or would you rather have an amplifier that doesn’t measure as well, but sounds absolutely amazing in your stereo? Which do you choose?

You question reflect the complete misunderstanding permeating all audio about the REAL experience in S. Q. which come ALWAYS at the end from the ACOUSTIC AND PSYCHO-ACOUSTIC control of the speakers/room and not from an amplifier or a dac or from a turntable etc...

Only those who sells products insist on this meaningless opposition....

Subjective and objective motivated and correlated designed experience and experiments are the basic of acoustic and psycho-acoustic...

The opposition between these 2 necessary and complementarey aspects are only invoked and used by narrow instrumentalistic obsessed minds, or by sellers... These 2 warring sides are the 2 faces of the same wrong...

Dont upgrade anything before embedding it rightfully, mechanically, electrically and especially acoustically...

There is probably no correlation, but would you rather have a TT or a digital based system?
