Novice: Get an equalizer? Got one to sell?

Hi. I'm a beginning audiophile with a beginner's system. NAD C 320BEE Amp/Pre, Marantz CD5003, PhaseTech Euro Series 530 ES speakers. I'm pretty happy with the sound in our small living room, but am wondering if I could improve it with a graphic equalizer. I wonder this because, to me, the system sounds better with bass and treble turned up. I'd appreciate any advice. I'd also appreciate it if someone has a beginning audiophile quality equalizer to sell. I don't think I need more than 10 sliders per side, but I am open to suggestions. Thanks much!
