Nostalgic setup for casual listening

I'd like to build a setup based on components I'm not using but have owned for a good while:  An Ayre AX-7e integrated amp (60 watts 8Ω,120 4Ω) would drive KEF Reference 1s.  Sources would be XLR from an Ayre C5xeMP disc player and USB from a Roon Nucleus to an Ayre QB-9 DAC then XLR to the AX-7e. Te AX-7e pairs well with KEF LS50 Metas, but I've never heard it with Reference 1s.
