No sound from AR ref 3 pre

Hi All,

Any owners or previous owners of the Audio Research Ref 3 pre have the unit stop working. One day after changing things around in my system I plugged the ref 3 back in and no sound along with a blank display but you could see the tubes lit up. I changed all the tubes out to new tubes and still no sound and blank display.

Packed the unit up and took it to my local shop and after a few days they said I needed a new display for $500.00. I emailed AR and they could not give me a definitive answer if the display is causing the unit to have no sound. AR would not give me price on a display.

Any other owners have this issue and a proximate price on a display.
