Newbie question about connecting speakers with 4 posts

My Klipsch RP 600 M II speakers have 4 binding posts. I can't understand if it matters which combination of positive and negative connections I use to create a simple, 2 wired connection. It's confusing because I don't know if the L and H side should be used as a pair or should one wire be on L negative and one on H positive. It's confusing even trying to explain this. I would post a screen shot but don't know how.
