New Yamaha A-S 2000 amplifier

Has anyone heard the new Yamaha A-S 2000 amplifier? The lower model, A-S 1000 with the matching CD-S 1000 CD/SACD player, received a favorable review in Hi-Fi News, but I could not get access to it. It has retro looks reminiscent of the vintage CA-1000 model. I am wondering how it sounds as good as the vintage models and if it would be easy to switch to Yamaha sound (without rejective the tube amplifiers) after 10 years of "tube life"...
