Tommylion, Frank
My experience with the treatment of my CD player has had the same effect on my vinyl habits as well. As reported a while back, it is amazing how much more organic the silver disc’s have become.
With my hearing restored, I am amazed how much more 3D it sounds now without any negatives. I will post when the 8 week time comes.

Eight week update. The speaker cables, CD player, power supply umbilical and it’s power chord were the first part of my main system to hit the eight week application anniversary. The rest of the power chords and the power conditioner came seven days later so I will report back next week to report on the impact, if any.
As for what I am hearing, it is impressive for what I paid for this product. I am enjoying better clarity on notes playing from bass through the treble regions. The PRaT has not been negatively in the least. This was a concern from the beginning but not stated.
One of the most surprising and enjoyable characteristics of the musical presentation is the three dimensional quality of the soundstage.
The other thing that has been developing over the last eight weeks has been how much more realistic voices and instruments have become. Crescendos are more fully portrayed. This definitely keeps the tempo more naturally flowing. I am definitely listening longer without fatigue, since my my brain is not trying to fill in the musical blanks.
I could say more, but what has been reported lately would be repetitive.
Enjoy the music,

Madman,
I paid the $300.00. I have stated in previous post that:
1. I have enjoyed the effect that the TC has had in my system from day one. 2. Based on previous tweaks I have tried and purchased, I think that this is a bargain tweak based on what It does to maximize the positive aspects of my system. 3. My experience with the product, is that it does exactly what was promised out of the gate. Further, it has improved as promised, within the 4 and 8 week curing process. 4. I have not experienced any negatives so far with this product. If something negative does occur, in the future, I will post it. 5. I received prompt customer service. The owner does return calls an emails.
Thanks

Mapman,
Sorry about the misspelling.

Rotaryphone,
I went through the same progression of improvements during the first weeks. As stated before, the only drawback about TC is that I lost and still do lose sleep listening late into the night.
The interesting thing about TC is that no matter what type of system you have, it just brings out the best in it, without changing it’s character.
Have fun,

Frank,
My week later application of the power chords, power strip, television, and power conditioner just hit the eight week period in my main system. All I can say is that this product has done everything that was promised on cue. The music is much more dynamic at lower volume levels. The detail, top to bottom, is incredible without any hard glare. The Power of the music is also communicated with the appropriate force and tone color.
Just to give a bit of perspective as to the level of improvement that took place at the 4 and 8 week curing points of the TC treatment, I think this might be helpful. The 4 week period was just as noticeable as when I installed a Shunyata “ Venum Defender” along with an Audience AU24 SE-i M Powerchord into my main system at the same time a year and 3 months ago. Further, About 6 months ago I finished breaking in an Audience AU24-SX interconnect between my amp and preamp and that was incredible. However, this last 8 week curing period was just as incredible as that experience. All this improvement came without any draw backs, save one SHORT term issue, I noticed on both systems at there 8 week break-in periods.
With about 3 to 4 days left in the eight week period, the system got very bright for 3 days. I hesitated to report this since it cleared up on the office system right at the 8 week deadline. However, It has not reoccurred on the office system which passed the 8 week perriod two weeks ago.
This product has proven itself in my system in an incredible way in audio terms. It won’t be coming off. I am very glad I tried it and would recommend it if the upgrade bug hits.
Thanks for taking the hits while helping Tim bring this product to market. I have never participated in any kind of forum prior to this and I am glad that I did. Now I enjoy listening to music more than ever.
My audio dealer/friends will surely be kept informed on my systems progress since they asked me to keep them apprised. One said after six months, another said one year.
Now it’s time for me to treat the rest of my interconnects in my main system. I will keep you guys posted.
Thanks,
rc

Ultimatezap,
I too found that eight week curing period somewhat arbritrary. However, since this material needs curing vs. break in I kid of get it. The most important thing is the results. As I have stated many times before, TC is huge bargain that is hard to beat with the quality of the improvement in sound quality.
Lack sleep is also my main gripe, but that’s on us!

I finally switched out my office system’s powerstrip from a Office Depot powerstrip, with a simple Eichman powerstrip and Crimson power chord (given to me by my dealer/friend). He felt sorry for me I guess. I proceeded to treated all new and existing power chord ends with TC. I thought it would make a positive difference while suffering a major setback, since I had 10 weeks of TC curing beforehand on the Office Depot strip. However, the positive effect was way beyond what I thought possible with my office system. Now I can look forward to the 4 and 8 week TC curing period. I will report back when I reach those curing periods in the office system.
This product keeps making everything better.

Bob,
Your experience is similar to mine. I thought my main system was resolving and very musical after tweaking and upgrading for two years. Then I stumbled onto the TC foum and like you, I was enjoying more of best of what my system had to offer, right out of the tube.
It should be a fun ride. I look forward hearing the progress of your system in the coming weeks.
Have fun,

Update on my office system. As reported earlier I had switched out my Office Depot “special” powers strip with an “Eichman” power strip. Before installing, I applied the TC to the new Crimson powerchord and re applied it to the male ends of each components power chord before re plugging them into the new power strip. Right out of the box it was an incredible improvement. I attributed most of that improvement to the new Eichmen strip and Crimson powerchord.
Now after about four to five weeks of curing. All I can say is that I am blown away by the music’s organic presentation, dynamics, pace, rhythm and timing. Eight weeks should to be incredible. I will report back at that time.
I have been very busy in my business lately but I have been buying and listening to a lot of various types of music late into the night. My listening sessions are long because it is not fatiguing in the least.
jafreeman,
Welcome me to the fun and Enjoy the music.

Eight week Office system update. After inserting an eichmen power strip. The 4 week jump was great but the eight week jump was unexpected. The bass definition and depth was more than I could have imagined coming from my 3 inch single driver speakers. The balance of the frequency spectrum was equally clarified, with stunning midrange and treble. For such a modest system it is truly a joy to listen to for hours on end. TC has been truly worth every penny I paid and then some. It is easy to apply and delivers on the claims that have been written about in this thread.
By the way I went to a speaker setup seminar yesterday evening and was treated to an amazing speaker demonstration that had Graphene coated drivers. 🤔
Happy listening.

Frank and/or Tom,
Advice and instruction needed. I have been hesitant to do any fuse upgrading, so if I dive in, I would like to get a base line by treating the existing fuse in the player with TC then upgrading it only if it makes an appreciable jump in sound quality. Not having ever done anything like this before, do I just treat either side of the fuse without getting any on the central portion of the fuse?
By the way the main reason for not wanting to spend much on a fuse is because I have been saving to get a music server and dac to eventually replace my aging Resolution Opus CD player in the near future.
Thank you in advance,
rc |
Frank,
Thank you for getting back. That is what I thought but still wanted to be sure. I will also speak with Tim since he may have a different take. I will let you folks know how it turns out either way.

For what it is worth, I have never been involved in any forum until this one. I am really glad that I could learn about the product from actual users. I purchased the product at my own risk. The bottom line is that TC has greatly enhanced the enjoyment in my music listening. I have also purchased more new music than ever before. This is why I enjoy my Hi-Fi.
Two years ago I was on track to upgrade my CD player but through the combination of upgrading with quality power chords, vibration control, interconnects and power conditioners, I was astounded to hear how good my computer/dac office system and existing CD player sounded. Add to that the eventual application of TC to both office and main system it is mind boggling the quality I am getting from my systems existing digital sources. Suffice it to say, I can now save up to get a proper music server and dac for my main system. TC was the tipping point in that decision since it got rid of a significant amount of the digital glare/hardness. Two years ago I was still was listening to vinyl 80% of the time.
I will be applying TC to my existing fuses next and report what I hear.
Rc |
By the way, TC was the most least expensive of all the above mentioned upgrades plus it improved all aspects of both of my systems.

The interesting thing about those trashing TC is that they have not tried it for themselves so that they can prove that it is detrimental to the sound quality or physically causes harm to their systems. I was concerned about both of those items and stated early on that I would report that in this forum if that turns out to be the case.
I am very protective of my Hi-Fi and it’s sound quality so I started out using the TC only where it could be is cleaned off on my less costly office system and old CD player’s power chord and umbilical. To date the only negative thing I have heard was a slight brightness to the sound just prior to the eight week curing period. After that however, the sound did improve dramatically almost to the day as mentioned.
So far I have, no complaints and lot of happy listing. The only complaint I do have is that I am not getting enough sleep because it really hard to turn off the music.

David Pritchard,
My 86 year old mother went blind two about two years so it has been very trying for her as well. However she does like to listen to the TV since she never had interest in Hi-Fi. I treated the cable and the electrical chord to the TV when she was away at a doctors appointment. I never told her and never even asked her about it. About three months after treatment I noticed that the TV volume was set at 16 not 19.
I hope your mother continues good health.

For what it is worth,
I am glad that OP brought TC to a forum on audiogon because I am enjoying music through my Hi-Fi like never before. As stated before, this is the first forum I have ever participated in.
I do not know OP except through this forum. Further, I did not know Tim Mrock until I spoke to him. Once, prior to ordering the product and twice after I receiving it. Each time he has been responsive, gracious and informative.
The product has performed far beyond what I thought it would for the price of one Shunyata Venum Defender, I have two and they have been treated with TC.
I like the the stuff so much that I treated a dealer/friend of mine, small started system with TC for him to evaluate. I also discussed TC with another dealer/friend with over 35 years in the business and he said to let him know how it performs and ages in place. He has tried all the afore mentioned treatments mentioned from the beginning of this forum and is rightly skeptical. This is the main reason I have been conservative in my treatment of my most costly system components. The main concern he had was the long term performance and physical integrity of the material. He never called me delusional or any of the other names. He did however give me some specific things to watch out for. So far everything has been positive, but I will report if any performance or physical abnormalities present themselves.

Stolitz,
Yes. I got more resolution from from top to bottom with any power, interconnect and the TC improvement at lower volume levels.

Grannyring,
Even as consevative as I have been in the application of TC, it is quite stunning that the amount of sonic gains that can be achieved with such a minimal investment. My biggest gain in SQ has been in my digital front ends. I never thought that I could sit through an entire cd or my computer based office system and listen to two or three songs without getting tired of it. I have been a vinyl lover for about forty years, but after upgrades to interconnects, power distribution and the TC application, I now enjoy digital as much as my vinyl front end. I did not ever think that could ever happen. I just wanted it to be more bearable.
Now after these upgrades I am so impressed with the removal of the digital glare from my system, that I am seriously looking at a reasonably priced server and dac.
keep on listening,
rc

My first applications of TC were the last week in February 2018 and have not been disturbed. I only treated interconnects, all power chords, power conditioners and power strips. I have still have not gotten to any fuse treatment due to work requirements. Interestingly enough, I did not expect any further musical refinement, since I never treated the interior of my equipment, wall outlets, electric panels etc. However, in the last 2 to 3 weeks I have noticed that the music taken on a more life like tonality. Better pace, rhythm and timing from top to bottom. I have also found that I can relax while listening since my mind has to work less and less to complete notes, that were once obscured by system noise, on very familiar recordings.
As as I noted before, the digital sources have really benefited the most, in my system. It sounds as if the digital “glare/hardness” has continued to deminish over time while the dynamics are steadily increasing.
As of this date, I still have not heard any negatives in the overall musical presentation.
By the way, I love being a delusional, brain washed, etc... audiophile, as I enjoy my Hi-Fi.
Enjoy the music.

Frank & Tommylion,
Ditto. My experience with it as well. I do not want to do without it. Lots to like so far.
rc |
Frank, tommylion,
This new deal is for real. I am am finding a huge expansion of the soundstage, and a much greater instrumental definition and tunefulness.
I did not think this level of improvement was possible with my old CD player
The best part is that I had no idea what to expect!
Rc |
The synergy between the TC and this “thing” is similar to the SQ gains obtained when I installed and broke in the the AU24 SX Audience interconnect, in my main system, about a year and a half ago. I am so glad that it was in place before I applied TC and this “thing” because they together have gradually created a more powerful musical experience that I did not think possible in my system.
Enjoying the music,
rc
|
Frank,
I agree, that with the new item, it took the the better part of a day for it really begin to do what it does in conjunction with the CD player. This is the kind of thing that makes this hobby fun.
rc

Stray_cat,
In my main system it has made my digital front end more organic and dynamic top to bottom.
Rc
|
Stray_cat,
If you have not yet started using the TC I would start having fun with that, since in my experience it is the best value in tweaks that I have come across in my experience. It can be used on interconnects, power chords and other places that others have mentioned in prior posts.
Doing that should bring you a great deal of satisfaction in the way your music is played your existing system.
Have fun,
rc |
Stray_cat,
I treated my office and main system and still have one third of my TC tube stored in my freezer. I did not go inside my gear, so I do not know how much you might need. I treated all my systems’ wall plugs, power conditioners, power strips, power chords, computer usb cable, speaker cables, tv, cable connections, and all interconnects.
As as for the new “item” I do not know what technology it is based on so I will have to wait along with you for an explanation. But I will say that is easy to use and it has given the music a more organic effect on the CD player’s presentation.
Have fun,
rc |
Stray_cat,
If you read my much earlier post I had just got done tweaking my main and office systems with Audience power conditioners, power chords, interconnects, shunatta venum defenders and stillpoints. With that in mind, TC was the least expensive tweak of all the above tweaks, considering that it treats and upgrades the Sound Quality of your aoudio and visual system(s). Further, I have not heard any negative or reduction in Sound Quality over the last four months.
Have fun,
rc |
Just a thought,
John McDonald of Audience AV, in a recent interview mentioned “Currently we are investigating nanotechnology (nano-conductive sprays and nano-substrate deposits) and their uses to improve sonics.” Seems like this delusion is spreading.🤯
Keep up the good work Tim.

Geoeffkait,
It is nice to have this technology in our hands to directly enjoy those benefits Now, in our Hi-Fi’s.
Take care,

Quick story,
Last week I was getting my trusty LP12 tuned up by my long time dealer/friend. He got done and we played a few LP cuts to fine tune my speaker placement. A tweak to toe end and all was spot on.
I asked him I he had tie to listen to a couple of songs on a cd from a artist we both like. He agreed. Though mostly retired he is always ready to go tune up another Hi-Fi. We played the two short cuts and an hour later and two discs later he said that the bass was way better than what he gets out of his, identical to mine, Opus 21 player. He had not heard it since I placed the mat and e-cards on and over the power chord connection, umbilical and interconnect connections to the preamp, a couple of months ago. I showed him what I had done since he last heard it. The reaction was of a subtle dis belief. He had to go and no more was said. He called me the next morning and congratulated me on the sound of my Hi-Fi. In the thirty-eight years that I have known him that has never happened. He has seen and heard it all. I think I will loan him a couple of e-cards to play with.
Play the music and they will come.
