New Tweak --- Its Fantastic
Over the good part of this past year I’ve been beta testing a new tweak, the name of which is "Total Contact." Its a hi-bred graphene contact enhancer that is different from all other contact enhancers that have come and gone for one reason or another. I’m not new to these contact enhancers, having had quite a bit of experience with a product developed by the late Brian Kyle and his "Quick Silver" contact enhancer. The "Total Contact" is different ... a LOT different.
"Total Contact" is graphene based and is not a vibration control. It eliminates micro-arching between two contacts. Micro-arching, much like Micro-vibration smears the sound in our stereo systems. Its the type of distortion that we don’t know is there .... until we eliminate it. There is no break-in as we know it. The sound is improved right off the bat, but what you hear is only a smidgen of what’s to come.
I tested three generations of "TC," each of which was an improvement over the previous incarnation. The final mix was cryogenitically treated and made for a more effective, much smoother application. It comes in a large hypodermic needle type plunger containing 1.5 ml of product and includes a instructional DVD and an application brush.
The application should be applied with a very thin coat to all of your electrical connections .... from your cartridge pins to your power cords. I did my entire system, including the ends of my fuses.
Upon initial application, you will notice an improvement in clarity, correctness of tonal balance and a more overall organic sound. But ... that is just scratching the surface of what this magic paste does. As it cures, the improvements become more apparent. Much more!
There are two real break-through events that happen almost to the day with "Total Contact," one at four weeks and another at eight weeks . At four weeks, you’ll get a real jump in clarity and overall improvement. That’s only a taste though of what’s to come at eight weeks. At eight weeks your system’s focus will make a jump in SQ that is so real - its surreal.
After 40 years in the hobby, and a total tweak nut, I have never heard anything that does what this graphene paste does. The see-through clarity at eight weeks becomes simply amazing. The "paste" eventually cures into a kind of polymer plastic and it seems that the sound improves with each listening session. So, its important that you leave your contacts alone for the duration. If you’re the type of person that continually switches wires in and out, you’ll have to re paste until enough time has elapsed to get "the cure."
The only problem I had was with the first batch and that had to do with shorting out a tube pin in the line stage. Use the "TC" very sparingly on tube pins, if at all. I only had problems with the line stage tube pins. The Amp, CD Player and Phono Stage has had no tube pin problems at all.
Tim Mrock, one of our fellow A’goners, is the developer of the product. Its taken Tim 15 years and several patents to get it right. Tim has "pasted" every electrical contact he can find in his audio system, all of the switches in his circuit breaker box, every contact in his car ... and has used it in commercial applications such as hospital circuit breakers, surgical lights ... and other places where efficiency and long life of electrical components are deemed important.
This product is highly recommended to anyone who truly wants to get the most out of his/her audio systems. There’s enough product in each tube to do at least two audio systems as it just takes a very thin coat on each application to be effective. The last tube was enough to do my system twice and then a friend’s system this past weekend.
Frank
PS: There were a couple of other A’goner beta testers of this product as well. Hopefully, they will chime in here with their experiences for comparison. I "pasted" both of Steve Fleschler’s systems a few days ago, perhaps he will comment on his results too. We forgot to paste Steve’s power cords though, so there’s a lot more to be had from Steve’s two fantastic systems.

Good morning everyone! I have not checked in in a couple of days, thread was very quiet. Big thank you to the big bad wolfgarcia for waking up the thread, and the attack on my integrity. First I would like to say this is not a graphene product! Graphene is only one small component! The only possible danger is to me during the manufacturing process, and only to a certain point. I would never ever release something, that would potentially be a health hazard period! Mr wolf you can huff and you can puff but...... well you know the rest! Timothy Mrock |
Well as Tom theaudiotweak has stated, it turns out there are many many more applications with this product that have nothing to do with micro arcing! As a matter of fact last fall, I think it was our first or second phone conversation, and he asked how the product worked with micro vibration, and to be honest I laughed at the idea. I also defended another product, that I have used for years. Never ever believed anything could supersede this particular product. Well I was wrong, very wrong. Between the two of us we have come up with a load of applications, all of them sonically stunning. What we do not know for sure, and its being worked on, is the why. We think we know, but its very hard to quantify. All of the apps will be rolled out on the website when it goes up. What I will not do is make up some technological explanation as to why it works. Frankly I want to know too, but with what I am hearing, and experiencing I could care less. As Tom and I both found out there is at least one app, that the first 10 days the system will sound bad, very bad. By the 15th day we will be friends again, and it goes up from there. Just a big thank you to all my customers who have taken a chance with TOTAL CONTACT! Hang on your product you have left, the fun has just started! |
amg56 My apologies to you and to anyone in any Country that has not been able to purchase the product! This has been a on going problem here since day one. I have emailed and talked directly to support. Seems to be fixed then, not. This site is nothing more then a launch pad, for a small one man operation trying to turn a dream into reality. Website and Amazon roll out will happen, however a key piece of machinery is my next top priority. Please keep in mind I also run another business. In the morning I will modify my ad with my email, if you can not purchase, email me directly and I will get you taken care of. We are very friendly when shipping to other countries. I WILL ALSO SPLIT THE SHIPPING WITH ANYONE PURCHASING OUTSIDE THE US UNTIL I ROLL OUT A WEBSITE OR AMAZON. |
@littlecx refrigeration will prolong shelf life, I do have a syringe that is now on its way to the 5 year mark, and the product is still fluid. @geoffkait No mystery to me. First off he did not received the first version, only Frank did, which was crude, but was good real good. He received the second version, and there was nothing wrong with that, actually good enough, that about half my system still has it. The sonic signature is the same! My point is the Beta Tester dropped out for other reasons, had NOTHING to do with my product PERIOD. No hard feelings on my part, forgiven and forgotten. I have all the emails which paint a much different picture that was portrayed on this thread. So, I thank you for sending him a little to try, and I am happy that he is impressed, we will see if he is impressed enough to purchase his own kit. If so he will be treated with the same respect and enthusiasm that I extend to all my customers, which I would like to thank again! Stay tuned something big is coming in the next month! |
@littlecx Thank you for your purchase! tracking number and package out today! Welcome aboard! @mikeg Thank you! most of all trusting me on the major change and investment in your electrical system. Enjoy all the calls, photos, and texts, keep them coming! @t_ramey Thank you Sir! I am elated with your praise and enjoyment of the product. Don't stop pasting pending my announcement, I haven't, and I know what's coming! LOL |
@resolution1 Thank you so much for your diligent and thorough posting as to the results you have experienced. Hard to believe, but the product will continue to improve. Thanks again! @barbapapa As long as your comfortable going inside the tuner, painting the top of caps, and pasting the transformer, should make for a large improvement, but remember PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. Any questions do not hesitate to call! Tim |
@stoplitz The guarantee thing has been addressed several times. Over a decade of development. The components I use are expensive, the various processes involved expensive. The size of this thread for only being started 6 months ago in the section of death is unprecedented. I understand value as much as anyone, and I am proud to say there is nothing that provides sonic improvement vs cost like TC. Blind faith? there is way too many credible folks here for that to even be applicable. |
@mapman I am beginning to think you salute the red flag. Are you a Red Diaper baby by any chance? Thecarpatian questions were fully addressed early on in the thread. His slick maneuvers posting on the ad, were nothing more then SABOTAGE. Removing his dribble, and blocking him was my only civil defense. |
@stoplitz Glad you tried the Black Discus, other makers of the same device include Stein, Bybee, Albat, and others. They do produce a large effect, and have been around for quite some time. One or two will give the illusion of a more lifelike presentation across the board even a big wow factor. However as more of the devices are are added, they do not compound well at all, to the point of the sound becoming a sonic cartoon. I heard a rumor that someone has taken the technology in those devices to a new level. I was not told much, just that if and when it's released it would really shake up the world of tweaks. |
@wolf_garcia Defamation, calumny, vilification, or traducement is the communication of a false statement that, depending on the law of the country, harms the reputation of an individual, business, product, group, government, religion, or nation.[1] Under common law, to constitute defamation, a claim must generally be false and must have been made to someone other than the person defamed.[2] Some common law jurisdictions also distinguish between spoken defamation, called slander, and defamation in other media such as printed words or images, called libel.[3] False light laws protect against statements which are not technically false, but which are misleading.[4] In some civil law jurisdictions, defamation is treated as a crime rather than a civil wrong.[5] The United Nations Human Rights Committee ruled in 2012 that the libel law of one country, the Philippines, was inconsistent with Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as urging that "State parties [to the Covenant] should consider the decriminalization of libel".[6] In Saudi Arabia, defamation of the state, or a past or present ruler, is punishable under terrorism legislation.[7] A person who defames another may be called a "defamer", "libeler", "slanderer", or rarely "famacide". The term "Libel" is derived from Latin "libellus" (literally, "small book' or "booklet"). Keep it up, and I promise to make you my next project! |
The point is anyone can talk out their rear like the liar fear monger stalking this thread. All he has is the BS cancer scare. "Look it up" I did, but let me guess he's not a good enough Doctor for you, RIGHT? Andrew Maynard, Director of the Risk Science Center at the University of Michigan is not entirely convinced that there is an issue. “Donaldson's work certainly demonstrates the potential for graphene flakes to present a health risk if they are able to be inhaled and enter the lungs, or penetrate to the region surrounding the lungs. But that is a big ‘if’,” he told Materials Today. Pharyngeal aspiration delivers particles – or platelets flakes – to the lungs within liquid droplets and the droplets determine where the material is deposited. “This allows early experimentation on what could occur if the material could enter the lungs under handling and use,” Maynard adds. “But it doesn't provide information on the plausibility of exposure occurring.” We do not yet know whether graphene flakes can become airborne and inhaled in a form that is dangerous during use.” Questions concerning health risks – while important – remain speculative,” Maynard says. |
@jetter Smaller quantity, yes it has been requested several times. It is under serious consideration. As far as your system not being resolving enough, I will share this with you. I have been recently working with a top manufacture, who has been implementing TC into one their top tier pieces of equipment during construction. The manufacturer called me a few weeks ago, and shared as a experiment he went to Best Buy and purchased a $199 Sony receiver. He went through it, mechanical connections, painted cap tops, fuse. I think he said he spent about a hour or so inside. He was very taken back as to the sound. Same type of relaxed organic sound signature that you get with better components. |
@stray_cat The insurance question which is a great and important one to ask! First UL certification and listing will be done on TC by years end. Once your electrician opens that panel, and changes just one thing, he is now responsible for the panel, including all previous work. In the event of a fire, last electrician in, his insurance would fight with yours. In the end no UL listing, both insurance companies would be looking for me. The odds of my product contributing to a electrical fire is ZERO. Some electricians will not use it without a UL cannot blame them in the least. Actually a fully treated electrical system, is as safe as it gets. |
