New TEO Audio ICs, who has them?

TEO has been busy, they recently introduced the KRONOS ICs:

I see they also have an upgraded version of the Game Changer (GC II):

A huge shout out to everyone who came to our room at AXPONA to say hi.....was great to see everyone and really appreciated the kind words.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Taras
This ultra continue to amaze me, I have the GC original, When I first heard it, It impressed me with instrument placement , tonal presentation, air, and neutrality, the ultra has 25 hrs on my second system, the characteristics of this cable is more like my GC but with good bass, more palpable, and easy to listen, musically it’s connects better than the GC.Taras and Ken, I don’t know, how you guys do it. This is onother cable that give a lot of listening pleasure.iam floored,...🎶
Has anybody had a chance to compare the GC 2 to the Ultra? When I was inquiring Ken about which to get I asked him if there was a bigger jump in performance between the original GC and GC 2 or between the GC 2 and Ultra and he said there's a bigger difference between the original and GC 2. And also that the GC 2 has a little bit better bass than the Ultra but the Ultra is more refined. Not that I'm doubting Ken's words, maybe I am! HA! But just curious if anybody has had the same experience. I still think about going for the Ultra someday...
I put my pair of Ultras into my system this morning after 270 hours on a CDP for break-in. A very open dynamic sound with nice details.
Wig my guest this will be a very very good cable in , I am referring on ultra....can you tell me the difference bet ultra and splash ic ?
Celander, beer maybe next time, I got my ultra ic, first impression is really good, will see....
Agreed, jayctoy. Only things missing from my conversation with Taras on Friday were the beers.
I met Taras , and what a nice guy...the system using Teo stuff sounds very natural and transparent, and easy to listen....Iam impress...
@jayctoy

If by chance I'm not in the room just ask Hugh or Tom for my number and I'll head back. And dinner/lunch sounds grand.

Taras, yes I will see you there with my four friends, looking forward to meet you and hear the new models..plenty of good restaurant around that area....

@jayctoy ... Hopefully be seeing you at AXPONA. We are teamed with  some amazing audio from Triangle Art and Angel City Audio. It should be sounding mighty mighty fine. Really looking forward to a great show and meeting folks we have touched base with here.

My Ultra's sounded really good right after installation. Clearly about a couple of notches better, I would say, than the already very nice Game Changer. My Ultra's may have been pretty well broken in, as I believe I bought the last prototype and current configuration. I can't tell if they further improved as I applied the TC enhancer to most of my system and that caused, I think, a couple of leaps in sound quality since installation.
@ lak

Give them 200 hours before placing them into your system and let them settle in for a few days. You will hear the beauty of Liquid Metal immediately. Let us know what you think?

Wig
One last question for whomever can answer. What will be the total number of break-in hours for the Ultra Interconnects, 150, 175 hours or what?
Thanks, much apprecacited...
There you go , Teo Audios suggestion is even better however in my case the DVD player I used didn’t have that option because of its age , I still have a Panasonic VHS Player and separate automatic tape rewinder ,.
I try to use a usb input on an older ’internet capable’ dvd player. You can load some tunes onto a usb stick and use that..so you don’t wear out the DVD drive mechanism.
Lak , or use a DVD player on repeat for a week that’s what I did with both GC 2 and my current Kronons .

@ lak

Place them on your CD player if it's not tube based; that way you can leave your CD Player powered up 24/7 and pre-amp will put a load on the cable.

I received my Ultra interconnects yesterday and have them in my system, unfortunately, it's going to be a while until I get 150 hours on them because my system is tubed, and I won't leave it on 24/7.
On Friday, I plugged in an order for a 2M run of the GC Ultra interconnects for use with my preamp to powered ATC monitors. Should be a revelatory improvement with respect to my current interconnects for that leg.
lak,

I have the last prototype demo of the Teo Ultra and it is definitely a few notches above the original GC.
You guys are a bad influence on me ;-)!
Shipping to me Monday (hopefully) will be a 1/M pair of Ultra's.
(LOL)
Received my Teo Audio Ultra's a few days ago and they are definitely better than their previous generation. I am hearing greater detail/air/subtle shading, a more developed soundstage and imaging.

I know these qualities are going to get even better as they settle into my system...

Their patent on the liquid metal fluid cables includes additional embodiments having either solid wire or solid particles in the fluid for the purpose of affecting electrical phase coherence properties. The tube geometry holding these goodies (fluid alone or fluid with solid wire or solid particles) also appears important to their performance. Obviously, a lot is going on with their technology.
Celander I couldn’t begin to say however reading member Doug Schroeders reviews mentioned on this thread including comments of Teo Audio on his page Doug covers some of Teos technology and I think coupled with trade secret and some patents I believe there is little through and through information .
All I know right now is that whatever they do it works and works very, very well .

@ in_shore
I wonder why the Teo Audio cable products have different performance attributes. They presumably have the same liquid metal fluid ingredients, unless I am missing something. Maybe they differ in construction materials beyond the liquid metal fluid being used.
My very first thoughts trying Teos GC II was these cables were such a departure from the audio cable industry norm I had to have more .
That short experience immediately led me to purchasing the Kronon ,...Now if someone asked me to describe what I’m hearing I couldn’t do it ,,....However I’ll attempt a few feeble comments

.Like my experience with the GC 2 I immediately noticed how much more natural and realistic really good recordings sounded and above all , if it’s in the the recording, the out standing low level detail ,
With the Kronon there seems to be , ,...on a whole entire level of distortion cleaned out of the signal path,
@ in_shore,

That's awesome and enjoy! My Ultra's arrive on Wednesday and will get them burning-in on my CD Player for the next 2 weeks.

Wig
in_shore,

Enjoy and report back. Very happy with my Ultra. Several steps above the already impressive Game Changer. Ultra may be the sweet spot of the Teo line. Although feedback already reported here sounds like the Game Changer II is awesome . .es p ecially for the money.
The mighty Kronos was delivered earlier today which pushed all my important to do stuff over to tomorrow,...My ,my.....
@ teo_audio

My GC2 cables are at 175-hr+ burn-in. Sound fabulous, being the best IC in my audio system by far with incredible dynamics, speed, space and timbre. Need to dial in the correct length for a run from my preamp to my powered ATC monitors for a follow up order. I’m a set and forget kind of guy for at least 5 years (not switching products every month). Thanks!
@taras22

Yes, I’m referring to your patented holes in the connectors. Thanks for confirming. (Not everything that is patented is included in the patent owner’s commercialized embodiment, which is why I asked.)

@ celander

All have what you call an aperture though our design is a novel interpretation of the generic ABH type.....and yes we have a patent on that design....

Cheers

Which Teo Audio cables include the tuned ABH apertures in the RCA connectors?
I’m looking forward on receiving them and implementing into my system and added detail is always welcomed...I do have some other cables on hand that I could compare to as a reference.

Wig
In_shore,

Wow the Kronon. I am sure you are going to be thrilled with those.

wig,

I am really curious how the Ultra is going to compare to the Splash.
I should be more specific and clear about the comparison results ,

Teos GC II out performed Morrowaudio MA-7 and CTs Damping Squared interconnects,.
Good move Tuffy & Wig , we’re going to have to compare notes ,.
Hi t-Ramey,
My comparisons were using CTs Damping Squared , MorrowAudio MA- 7 and Teos GC II , whatever worked best would stay however I just traded in GC II on Teos Kronon ,.
