Thanks for the information regarding the Arcam processors. I understand that it only acts as an HDMI switching function.
I was at a Sony shop today looking at Blu Ray players. Just FYI, they are releasing a new machine in the next 60 days. I was looking at their current Blue Ray player and I noticed they reduced it by $200, to $799. Their new player is going to be in their "ES" series with some new software upgrades. I have always been impressed with the build quality of the ES Series, (Solid Cabinets). I am going to wait for this unit to be released. It will retail at $999.
As far as cables, I have been exclusively using Audioquest through my system. I will probably stick with Audioquest for continuity.
Thanks for the input.
