I love tweaking components and will share my findings with you all. However, I need to downsize my systems and will look into new speakers with the Mofi under my radar. I don't have the speakers yet, but a fellow DIYer can help persuade me to make a final decision depending on how accessible the crossovers are.

While you're in there, install some .1uf or .01uf bypass caps, and let us know what you hear.
