New marantz integrated vs. EAD ovation

I have an EAD ovation that has been to Noble Electronics for some mods, mainly new display, caps and diodes. My question is, am I stepping up by going to the PM-11S3, or even the PM-8005(I know a substantial price difference), or is the EAD still a great unit considering it's age?
