New Magico A1 Bookshelf Speakers!

Has anyone seen, heart or read a review on Magico's new A1 bookshelf speakers?

Magico's site states the speakers start shipping Q3 '19 ... so next month at the latest?

The speakers are going to be prices at $7,400.  The last bookshelf speakers by Magico were more than $20,000.

Could this be a game changer for those of us looking for the ultimate bookshelf?
They are solid aluminum and weigh 45 lb.

Does anyone have more intel to share?

Thanks...

I attended RMAF over the weekend.

Since they moved the event up a whole month from it's usual schedule I think some folks were caught by surprise.

Magico did not bring their new A line (nor the A1 bookshelf i was hoping to hear) and Focal didn't even come.

I'm hoping next year when the event goes back to Oct timing there will be a better showing of manufacturers.

I just heard a pair today with a subwoofer in the setup. It was over at Brooks Berdan. They sounded amazing. There wasn’t another set of speakers in the room to A/B but the first thing that popped out at me was the imaging. The stereo image was very clear and the separation was fantastic.
Thank you - good to know.

I still have not gotten the chance to hear the A1s but I'm getting intel that they are amazing.

Did they use the Magico sub?
As a current A3 owner, I'd imagine the A1s to be something special, but as with all speaker choices, it does come down to what you like to listen to and prefer, taking lots of factors into account.  I love the A3.  Amazing sound in a small footprint and easy to place.  I recently moved on from my A3s to Revel Salon2s.  The biggest factor was my desire to combine my 2-channel system and dedicated theater system into 1 setup.  With Magico, it just wasn't cost effective nor did they have the product breadth to cover my needs.  Revel has that covered.  So up for sale the A3s go.  If you can accommodate the A3, you should look at mine.  Not much more than an A1 new. ;-)
