Last time I caught Courtney Marie Andrews in concert I drove four hours to her home town of Nashville to hear her sing in a small club. She has since appeared at Newport and is currently touring overseas in support of her new album, Loose Future. I’ve provided links to the new album as well as a song from previous one. It’s too early to call her a superstar in Americana music but the notes are clearly on the wall.

From Let’s Be Lovers, a new album Coles Whalen "quietly released" in the last few days. With six previous albums now released she’s no beginner and has a substantial fan base in her first home town of Denver. I’m very pleased to find this new album. She has an easy style which has the promise of finding a wide audience. Give this song a try and if you are like me - you’ll be staying up late to preview all of the other cuts on the new album. Only one more request I could possibly want from this artist and that would be a physical CD (sorry just not yet big on downloads).
