Negative feedback and reviews of bad sellers

I'm having a problematic sale with a seller who has somehow managed to get any negative feedback on his operation removed from the forums. How and why is this allowed? If this really is a community, why does this site not allow for honest descriptions of abhorrent behaviors by so-called "dealers" as a warning to others?
