That is a great idea but I don't think it's designed for either 4 or 8 ohm speakers. I took a picture but don't see where I can post it. It has 8 speaker posts (group A and B).
Stated at the bottom:
A+B 8-16 ohm
A or B 4-16 ohm
I find it strange there is no switch for speaker A/B
