You know that feeling you get when you introduce a new toy, you're all excited, you think you know what you're doing...AND THEN...NOTHING
! And the feelings of despair, angst, and desperation kick in? I had that in spades. I was truly in panic mode
Now, elation, excitement and over the moon joy! Fully up, fully running, and could not possibly be any happier! All 3 components operational and sounding so sweet. After @fthompson251 replied in my other thread about the connections it clicked. Everything to Hermes, Pontus set to I2S, dirrrrr kingbr - LOL!
Anyway, I am going to let it run all day while at work tomorrow, come home, pour a glass of wine, batten down the hatches and sit for 4-5 hours for some critical listening. I'll post my impressions if I notice a difference with Hermes...
