Need help finding a motor pod for my turntable's external motor

The speed sensor on my Teres (340) TT went bad. Replacing it would be very involve (1) finding the correct one (2) taking my TT apart which would involve lots of lead removal etc. It's not an easy part to get to. My Bro in law designs & builds          servo systems and has designed a servo drive system for me.

It is operational but I need  a motor pod or a top  mounting plate for my existing pod. Its been suggested that I have a top plate done by 3D printing. I don't know much about the material which can be used or its strength for holding the motor over time. If appropriate, I believe I can have one made locally but not completely sure of that. Worse case scenariois I could drill the top plate of the existing motor pod. Its not what I prefer but it is doable.

FWIW the motor is a NEMA 17 mount which has a 4 bolt pattern
