Need advice with matching amp with speakers

Hello. I need help matching a potential pair of speakers with my amp. The amp is a Michi X3 Series 2 with the following specs:

Max power output 350W/Ch (4Ω)

Continuous power output 200W/Ch (8Ω)

Total harmonic distortion <0.008%

Frequency response: Line Level Inputs: 10Hz - 100kHz (+0dB, -0.4dB)

                                   Digital Inputs: 20Hz - 20kHz (0 ± 0.4dB)

                                   Phono Input: 20Hz - 20kHz (+0dB, +0.4dB)

S/N Ratio (IHF "A" Weighted)

Line Level Inputs: 102dB

Digital Inputs: 102dB

Phono Input: 80dB

The speaker is the Sonus faber Sonetto V G2 with the following specs:

Frequency response 38-40000 Hz

Sensitivity @ 2V83 88dB

Nominal Impedance 4Ω

Recommended amplifier power 50-280W

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

what do you want help with cos the amplifier is neutral sounding so will impart less than audible character to the speakers. your worry should be speaker/room coupling not amplifier as the amplifier is competent and capable of driving the speaker in question with no sweat @zooropean

I think you will find that the Michi will be a good match. The Sonos Faber Is a musical speaker, perhaps at the expense of the last word in well controlled bass and detail. Michi is very transparent, fast, and provides good detail and I suspect you will find it to be a balanced pairing

It’s hard to go wrong with SF speakers. I’m using a PS Audio BHK Signature preamp and BHK300 amps with mine, but I bought them because they’re “Hybrids” and with a little tube rolling helps refine the sound I wanted to hear. I also have one subwoofer that sometimes gets used, but for the most part, the bass is more than enough for me.

I’m sure you’ll like them with the Michi’s.

All the best.
