Nak PA-7 mods near Seattle...

In my quest for better power on a budget, I have been thinking of trying to locate a local tech to help the PA-7. I have been told (never heard) that the amp is capeable in the right hands of such a rebuild and likely well below the cost associated in going up to a Belles 350 or Pass 250.5 as I would desire. My listening is a broad mix through a set of Polk SDA-2's, a Belles 21A pre, and a Arcam cdp through Morrows ic's and cables. Any comments or leads to a tech welcomed.
