nad receiver 7240pe

Hi, I own a nad receiver 7240pe...i recently moved and had to disconnect my system...and now it seems i cannot move the speaker connector knobs on the back of the receiver. they dont even turn...so its very difficult to plug my double banana clip wire on them. any ideas??
