NAD C658 vs. Denon DNP-2000ne?

I am looking at two different DAC/preamps, the NAD C658 and the Denon DNP-2000ne. I am interested in these units as they have multiple digital inputs and HDMI inputs (standard on Denon; upgrade card on NAD).

The Denon appears to be well-reviewed, and is less expensive than the NAD. However, I would have to go with an integrated amp to connect my turntable. The NAD is more expensive, but has analog inputs, so I could use it as a preamp and connect directly to a power amp.

Have any of you heard either of these units, especially combined with a tube amplifier? Which has better sound quality? (I prefer a warm/liquid/tube-like sound.)
