As you probably know, the Arcam CD23T FMJ is one of the last and best Ring DAC models that Arcam designed. Later models used Wolfson DACs for cost savings and then were very questionably touted as "improved". Since you seem to like this component with your system, is there a chance that you can just get it repaired?
Nad C565BEE vs. Arcam CD23?
Has anyone auditioned this? How would it compared to other cd players? I had been using the CD23 but it have recently been having issue on the left channel. Looking to see if the C565 might be a good replacement. I used to have the C541i and it was pretty good although a bit rough around the edge. One thing I really love about the CD23 is how musical it sounds but at the same time being very clear and precise.
