NAD 3130 and my NAD 743
o be frank, I much prefer the sound of my NAD 3130 to my NAD 743 receiver. I have connected these to my Sonus Faber Concerto ( I think they are the first Concertos). The 3130 sounds lush, big, and smooth with really nice imaging. The 743 sounds more neutral and simbilant on the highs.
Are there any NAD amps, not integrated but a true amp sans preamp, that I can use that have this warm NAD characteristic? Perhaps I can deviate out of the NAD brand but I am trying to keep this affordable and you get a lot of bang for your buck , at least to my ears, with the used NAD stuff.
