MY THIEL 1.5 FLOOR SPEAKERS

Having our Audio Video system upgraded to surround 5.1 with Sonos backbone to fill the house with sound . The stereo guys want to replace my Thiel's with a high end Sound Bar which kind of scares me . I have a center Thiel SC 5.3 as well and a Klipsch Base ,does replacing these make any sense

Audition these potential replacement speakers prior to any purchase.
Trust your own ears. The better upgrade would be a pair of CS 1.6 or CS 1.7 loudspeakers. Backfill with the 1.5 model.

One is them is talking about a Goldenear super cinema 3d array L/C/R Passive speaker which does seem to rate highly just not sure if it is in the same league as the Thiels

that sounds seriously whack...a sound bar?  Doesn't make sense, I think you are right to be skeptical.

I doubt it.  I don't know what a high end sound bar is but I'd be surprised if it could compete with, let alone beat, what you've already got.
