Musical Fidelity X-A1 question
I recently acquired one of these and the power supply says 230 volts.
The red LED on the front glows brightly and seems to work properly when plugged into 115 volts. it has enough power for my fairly inefficient bookshelf size speakers.
I realize this integrated is only rated at 50 WPC, so I can't expect it to compete with higher power amps, my only question is, is this unit only really compatible with 230 volts or when they were exported to North America did they just not relabel the power supply?
There is no email to MF and their reputation for support seems pretty dismal anyway.
Thanks for your input.
