Music Server - Baetis

Does anyone have any experience with Baetis as a music server?  I currently have a Emm Lab Dac 2X V2 with a Lumin A-1 acting as a transport.  I also have a Synology 4tb NAS where all of my music is stored and I subscribe to Tidal.  My system is strictly two channel....no vinyl, no cd's.  My amp is a Raven Integrated Reflection MK2 tube amp that generates around 68wpc.  My speakers are Sonus Faber Amati Homage Tradition.   I am very happy with my sound quality but am always looking to improve it if that is possible.  I really do like the ease of the Lumin App on my Ipad.  My budget for a music server if I were to go that route would be between $4-10k.  Thoughts please.

I have never heard the full Hardware solution, but I have used the software and its excellent. Total Jitter buster!
Wisnon....have you heard the Laufer?  I never heard of it until now and am doing research on it.  That item retailed for $57k.  Seems like a typo to me.  As I said I am not listening to any CD's nor do I plan on ripping any either.  Tidal is important to me so is ease of handling through my Ipad.  Do you think the Laufner fits that requirement?

I had the Baetis Reference 3B which made a huge difference in my system (Spectral, Magico, Vivaldi DAC). The latest Baetis Reference 4i is an even greater difference and well worth the money.  The adage is true that the source is the most important piece in reproducing the best sound. Until you have tried this, you won't realize what you are missing. With the latest Reference 4i, instruments and voice sound like the real thing. It easily runs Roon off your IPad. I briefly heard the Wadax reference music server (which is much more money and had an amazing review by Hartley in the recent TAS) and this is on par with it but much less expensive. Plus the instantaneous support from Joe at Baetis takes all the worry out of this purchase. If you think that spending this amount of money is a waste, it is actually a small price to pay for outstanding musical reproduction and putting the performers in your room.

Wow, this is an old thread.  I ended up getting an 8tb Lucas Audio LDMS music server.  It is the one component that made the biggest impact on my system.  It is a Roon Core run from my IPAD.  The clarity and detail of my digital are supreme.  I also considered Taiko.  I ended up with LDMS after talking to Lucas Domansky on multiple occasions.  I view him as a computer genius.  I get basically 24/7 customer service if I need it.  Lucas is out of Poland and the UK.  He remotely set up my server and everything has worked great.  Wadax is way above my affordability level.  My LDMS was less than Taiko but more than Baetis.  I am super happy with my LDMS.  My other source is a Lampi Pacific but I have the new Horizon on order.
