music fidelity v-link impressions.

i saw audio advisor had this unit on sale for 119.00 w/ free shipping so i bit. i can't afford the empirical audio unit and figured that 119 wasn't much of a risk. i am using the unit with my v-dac and after letting it run for 48 hours i am pleasantly suprised. using mac with pure music i hear tighter and better bass. the vocals seem smoother and the highs are never strident and seem cleaner. is this the effect of reducing jitter? whats going on here? i try not to go crazy thinking each new addition is wonderful but this seems pretty nice. thanks john
