Movie/film suggestions.

While this is of course a forum for the discussion of all things audio/hi-fi and music, pretty much all of us are also lovers of movies, the enjoyment of which is effected by the reproduction of the sound they contain (with the exception of silent movies wink).

I've been focused on David Lynch movies since his death, but with current events so much a part of our lives at the moment, I plan on re-watching a movie I’ve seen only once, and years ago. That movie is:

The Madness Of King George. Apropos, no?

"Return To Macon County" an early hot rod film with Don Johnson and Nick Nolte.

I think John C Reilly has been in more movies than we remember. His role in The Sister's Brothers was a highlight, IMO

"The Man in the Moon" & "Freeway"....two early Reese Witherspoon movies

Love Bill Murray. He’s great along with Melissa McCarthy in..."St  Vincent"

Watched "Kill The Irishman" & "Iceman" back to back recently. Both still hold up.

BTW, was WHM’ wife, the female in the Seinfeld episode when she was attractive in the light but very unattractive in the dark?

"Edmund". A really interesting film. See William H Macy as never before, brilliantly portraying a middle aged, unhappily married man, disrupting his and other's lives, based on a fortune teller' reading. Many well-know actors.

Just finished "Begin Again". A music oriented film with Keira Knightly and Mark Ruffalo. Highly enjoyable.

May have mentioned before .....watched "Rudderless" again. Enjoyed it as much or more than when it was first released. William H. Macy's directorial debut. Great cast, story, and music.

Chris Cooper was great in "Breach"

"Lucky" if you're a Harry Dean Stanton fan

A favorite actor of mine is Sam Rockwell. Any film I've seen him in was made better by his character acting.

Always liked The Hot Spot. Has a great soundtrack. I believe Chad has just released it.
