mouse pads...cheap isolation tweak???????

Have been curious about trying this...has anyone gained an advantage with using mouse pads? thanks Chad

I'm thinking of placing my DAC on top of my transport and putting a black mousepad between them. My reason is more for protecting the top surface of the transport, but I also wondered about isolation effects.
