Monoprice Center Channel

These speaker caught my attention.Two woofers, mid and a ribbon tweeter. They are trying to solve the MTM horizontal lobbing problem.  https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=16222
They look like a lot for the cost. However, I was wondering, if using a ribbon tweeter for a channel is a good thing or not. I thought it is important that the center channel has a wide dispersion pattern. Don't ribbon tweeters tend to offer a narrow dispersion. Thoughts anyone? Thanks
