monitor upgrade: pmc/proac/older dynaudio/atc/?

buddy is buying my current set-up of creek 5350 integrated, arcam cd73t, reynaud twin mk2

replacement amp will be leema pulse, cd either cyrus cd8se or arcam cd27

have been looking at the pmc tb2i and db1i standmounts which are sweet. it's quite hard to demo a big range of stuff in singapore/hong kong but i was thinking a used pair of dyn contour 1.3mk2, and any of the proacs i can get my hands on.

medium size room, musicality is important, mainly instrumental jazz i listen to. budget up to $3k...any other suggestions? atc? will the leema drive them?
